Important notice regarding arrival time
Customers please can you ensure that ALL of the people attending your party arrive at the Centre AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR PARTY IS DUE TO COMMENCE. We are extremely busy on Saturdays and Sundays, therefore any late arrivals may not be able to participate in the game session as we must keep to time to prevent delays for other customer’s parties. Please be aware refunds will not be given.
If you are booked for your first game session to start at 11am, can you please be waiting outside 5 minutes before the doors are due to open (doors open at 11am). This will prevent customers having to wait longer than necessary in adverse weather conditions.
Where is my booking confirmation?
Laser Quest emails your booking confirmation to you. Sometimes you may not receive it. More often than not this is due to a mail filter / junk mail filter automatically filtering our email out as junk mail. Please check your junk mail folder first as it is likely our confirmation email will be in this folder. If after checking your junk mail you still haven't received your confirmation email please call us.
What happens when we get there? How does it all work?
When you arrive you need to check in at mission control; every player must choose a game name before receiving a special access key. You will then be instructed to enter the airlock where you will have the game objectives and safety rules explained to you by a staff member. Once you have been briefed and kitted up its then time to enter the arena and let battle commence!
How does the Birthday adventure work?
This package proves to be very popular. It consists of two 20 minute game sessions of Laser Quest with a twenty minute drinks break in between. On completion of the second game you will be shown to your party area where the children will be given party bags and a choice of hot meal. Please see our Birthday Adventure Page for more details. This package lasts one hour forty minutes from start to finish. Please be aware that unless you have booked an Exclusive Birthday Party Adventure, your party will be playing with other groups of a similar age.
How old do you have to be to play?
Because of ther nature of the game and size of the equipment, Laser Quest is not deemed suitable for children under the age of 7.
How long does a game session last?
Each game session lasts 20 minutes, which includes 5 minutes briefing time.
Is Laser Quest safe?
Laser Quest is completely safe; players are briefed on the safety rules, and Laser Quest staff members are on hand to supervise the games. Any parents who are concerned about the safety are welcome to assist in supervising the game.
How do I book?
Booking is easy, simply click here and follow the online instructions or give us a call. A 50% deposit is required when booking. Players are advised to arrive 15 minutes before your game session is due to start.
What happens if fewer players turn up on the day?
We understand that organising a party can be stressful, so we try to be as flexible as possible. We recommend booking for what you think will be your maximum number of children and then keep us posted on any changes. We would ideally like final numbers at least 24 hours before the day of the party.
What should I do with my valuables?
You are welcome to leave your belongings in the briefing room whilst playing the game, however Laser Quest does not accept any responsibility for lost or stolen goods.
Is there a viewing area?
Parents are welcome to go in to the arena and watch, just ask a staff member who will be more than happy to show you around. We also have a camera in the arena which displays all the action as it happens in the reception area.
Respect
Please observe the game's safety rules outlined during the briefing. We advise dark, comfortable clothes and flat shoes with a sole that grips.

We request that all female players avoid wearing heeled or open-toe shoes and ensure that only flat shoes with a sole that grips are worn. Trainers, plimsolls and other similar footwear is recommended.

Where is the nearest place to park?
Parking is available in the NCP car park (behind the Empire Cinema) on St Nicholas Way. Laser Quest is located on the first floor of Sutton Superbowl, which is back up St Nicholas Way across the other side of the road. We are approximately 5 minutes walk from the car park.
What is in the party bag?
We provide black, Laser Quest branded party bags. Each bag contains a Laser Quest branded balloon and badge, a chocolate bar, a bag of Haribo jellys and a lollypop. You are welcome to add any items to the bags. Please speak to a Party Host if you wish to do this.
What food do you offer?
We find that the Rollover range is very popular with children. You may have seen this in various bowling alleys and Cinemas. We offer a choice from a Rollover hotdog, veggie burger, hamburger or cheese burger, which comes with a side of fries. All food is cooked fresh and hot to order. We ask the children for their food choice at the point of issuing their access keys for their first game. If there are any dietary requirements or children that suffer with allergies, you are welcome to bring suitable food.

What do I need to bring?
All you need to bring is a cake, candles and matches. Please give your cake to the Party Host when you arrive so we can keep it safe in our service area. When you are ready to light the candles, let us know and we will prepare the cake for you. Once the candles have been blown out, we can cut the cake into portions in our service area and hand them out to the children or put in the party bags if you wish. Please ask a Party Host to assist you with this if required.
